Choose the Right Size for Your Industry Using the Appropriate Axial Fan Blades
There are really only two main types of industrial fans: Centrifuge Fans and Axial fans. The rest of the many industrial fans, blowers and heaters fall under various classification such as Industrial Blowers, industrial ventilation fans, Exhaust fans, outdoor fans, indoor fans, and others. Each type of fan is meant for a particular application, which therefore needs to be considered carefully. There are also different types of fans that are available and they include:
An axial fan, as the name suggests, moves in an axial form, which means it is made up of a shaft and two curved blades which are perpendicular to each other. This type of fan uses a variety of different technologies to provide for high-speed and high-quality airflow. Common industries that use industrial fans are automotive, electronics, food processing, power generation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, woodworking, construction, pulp and lube, refrigeration, and others.
The two most common types of axial fan blades are the scroll fans, which are usually circular in shape, and the brush fans, which are triangular shaped. The size of the blades is determined by the application needs of the industrial fan. As for the shaft, which can either be made out of copper or brass, this is determined by the speed and performance that are desired. There are certain factors, which need to be taken into consideration before purchasing any fan.
